Will If you found the former soundscapes had a life of their own, this latest edition could drive you to the brink of madness. The CD is absolutely fantastic. Packed in a DVD case complete with family history in a very limited edition and a bonus track not available digitally, the soundscapes do fervent justice to the foreboding emotions of the characters that only Jason Wallach of The Unquite Void can achieve. I love this work as much as the whole catalog.

This new album is based on and inspired by the Robert W. Chambers novel, The King in Yellow. The tracks on the album are derived from Cassilda's Song from the play itself. Each track title describes an event mentioned in the song drawing the listener ever closer to Carcosa.
